The Beloved Blue Whale

The Beloved Blue Whale

I can’t possibly explain why, but I’ve been thinking a lot about Blue Whales lately. Blue whales would be the greatest pets actually recognized to have existed on the Planet. These superb marine animals tip the seas at up-to 100-feet (30 yards) extended and well over 200 tons (181 metric tons). An elephant can be alone weighed up to by their tongues. Up to a vehicle, their kisses. Blue whales accomplish these mind boggling measurements on the diet created almost completely of small shrimplike creatures. Whales are baleen whales, which implies they’ve plates of fingernail-like substance mounted on their top teeth. The large pets supply by abdomen to go in. Then A whaleis significant language causes the water out through the slim baleen plates, increasing the skin on the neck and gulping a huge mouthful of water. A large number of krill are remaining behind—and subsequently swallowed. Blue whales appear blue marine that is legitimate, but on top their color is orange-grey. Their underbellies accept a yellow color from your countless microbes that take property within their skin up. The whale includes a flathead as well as a lengthy body that leads to flukes that are large. Blue whales are now living in all of the planet’s seas periodically skating in communities that are small but in couples or often alone. Blue sharks are one of the loudest creatures in the world. They release a number of impulses, groans, and moans, and it’s assumed that, in excellent situations, blue sharks could notice one another as much as 1000 miles (1,600 kilometers) apart. Experts believe these vocalizations are used by them to speak, but, with their reading that is superb, to sonar- the water depths that are lightless. Really Big Babies Whale calves enter the entire world presently rating one of the greatest animals in the world. It gorges on just momis dairy and benefits about 200 lbs (91 kilograms) every single day for the first-year. Blue whales are among Planetis greatest-lived creatures. Professionals have found that by rising the dead whaleis wax-like earplugs’ levels, they are able to get yourself a near estimation of your petis era. The earliest blue whale observed like this was established to become around 110 years of age. Between 25 and 10,000, 000 sharks are considered to still move the planet’s seas. They were driven by ambitious shopping inside the 1900s by whalers for the edge of disintegration. Between the middle and also 1900 – some 360, 1960s, 000 sharks were slaughtered. They ultimately arrived together with the 1966 International Whaling Commission under safety, nevertheless they’ve maintained merely a small restoration ever since then. Whales have several predators but are recognized to fall prey by killer whales and sharks to strikes, and several are wounded or die annually with huge boats from effects. The Blue Whale is the greatest person ever to have existed on earth. Their tongues alone can consider as much as an elephant. Their minds, as much as a vehicle. Incredibly this giant of the water feeds on a few of the smallest marine-life tiny shrimplike animals that are – called krill. 6000kg of krill a-day, 3 can be consumed by just one adult blue whale. They generally hook their food and descend to depths of around 500m. The whale’s mouth features an amazing line of plates fringed to aid it filter source of food – Plankton from your water. There is what looks around the end-of each platter to assist it contain the instant prey like a moustache of long bristles. With each mouthful, up-to 5,000kg of plankton and water can be held by the whale. Having pushed the water from its mouth, the whale licks these bristles with its tongue. Although the blue whale is actually a deep water hunter, as a mammal, it should arrived at the surface of the sea to breathe. Blue sharks occasionally swim in groups that are small but usually alone or in frames. They’re thought to form close parts. In spite of their majority, these stylish swimmers sail the sea at over h, and can reach rates of around 30km/h. Moans, and groans whales are one of the loudest creatures in the world, communicating with one another utilizing a group of low frequency pulses, although we can’t hear them. Star Wars: Commander – Like Clash of Clans But Better

Star Wars: Commander – Like Clash of Clans But Better

Yeah, I said it. There have been a lot of Clash of Clans knock-offs that have been completely forgettable and the mighty entry in the RTS arena from Supercell has been nearly unstoppable. Why does everyone keep trying to copy it, only to fail miserably? And Star Wars games don’t exactly have a stellar reputation. So many have been disappointments. So I had very low expectations when installing Star Wars: Commander on my iPad. I had heard that it was just Clash of Clans dressed up in the Star Wars mythology, and to some extent that’s very true. But the game designers did a great job of improving on the overall gameplay and added a lot of elements that are missing from CoC. Here’s what I like: the single-player experience, introduced through missions that are organized via chapters, is very enjoyable. There are also time-limited campaigns that give you access to special units. The first one is called the Dandoran Conflict and it’s very challenging to complete. Here’s what I don’t like: too much emphasis on paid currency. I understand the need to make money, but the pressure to pay up is unbearable at points. I think it will annoy players, who will quickly abandon the game for less aggressive alternatives. There’s a lot going on in the game. I suggest brushing up on some Star Wars Commander cheats to get the most out of the game without having to shell out money.  ...

Headed to Utah Next Week

Headed to Utah Next Week

I’m making a small road trip to Utah next week for some time in the many National Parks there. The first stop will be Zion, followed by Bryce and then a short drive up to Arches National Park. I like to go right after Labor Day, when the crowds have died down considerably. This gives me a chance to have a lot of the park to myself and to just marvel at the natural beauty. Utah is truly a beautiful place and I’m really looking forward to the trip!

Playing Angry Birds Epic

Playing Angry Birds Epic

My latest obsession is Angry Birds Epic from Rovio. It’s a turn-based RPG instead of a physics-based puzzle game, which is a huge departure for the Angry Birds franchise. It’s also free-to-play, which means lots of In-App Purchases (IAP), which has a lot of Angry Birds fans upset. But I think you can easily play through most, if not all, of the game without spending any money at all. So overall, I think it’s a great deal! In Angry Birds Epic, you start out as Red. Several pigs including Prince Porky and WizPig, have stolen 5 of your bird eggs and they also kidnap the yellow bird, Chuck. It’s up to you to rescue your friends, who join your party as your adventure continues. There are well over one hundred stages to play through and lots of content to keep you playing the game for a very long time. Another thing I love–no energy bar! A depleting energy bar system is a major annoyance for most free-to-play games. Angry Birds Epic does away with it completely, meaning you can play for as long as you like. If you want some good tips and tricks for the game, check out Angry Birds Secrets, which has walkthroughs, strategy guides and...

Boom Beach

Boom Beach

I used to be a huge fan of Clash of Clans from SuperCell. It’s one of the first mobile games that got me to part ways with some of my cold, hard cash. I played incessantly for weeks but eventually got tired of the game. It was with mixed emotions that I waited for the release of SuperCell’s new game, Boom Beach. This game is similar to Clash of Clans, but has a World War II theme where you fight to control as many islands as you can. There’s a single-player quest line involving some evil guys known as the Blackguard, but the real action, just like in Clash of Clans, are the player to player battles as you find for supremacy in a very crowded archipelago. I immediately brushed up on some Boom Beach secrets and strategy guides to get an understanding of the different troops, resources, and ways to battle in the game. I didn’t take that approach with Clash of Clans, and I regretted it because I wasted a lot of time in the early levels doing exactly the wrong things. Here’s a little bit of what I learned. Troops First of all, there are several different troops in Boom Beach, and while there are some parallels to Clash of Clans, the Boom Beach troops have their own individual strengths, weaknesses and minor quirks. You’ll start of the game with the Rifleman unit, and then quickly get access to the Heavy and the Zooka. Later in the game, you’ll get to play with the Warrior, the Medic, and the Tank. Rifleman at the Ready Here comes the Heavy The Zooka packs some power The warrior heals as he fights. The medic heals other troops The tank is the most powerful (and expensive!) of the troops. Strategy There’s a lot of strategy in Boom Beach, due to the different troops and the island defenses they face. For example, the Rifleman unit works great in groups as they tear through most defenses. But they’re weak versus machine guns and flamethrowers. So you need to pair them with Heavy troops, who act as a shield of sorts to absorb the damage while the Riflemen do their work. Likewise, the Zookas do incredible damage but are glass cannons. Even the smallest of defenses can take them out quickly. Fortunately, you can attack with Zookas at long range. I’m still learning the ins and outs of Boom Beach, but it’s a lot of fun so far!...
